Funeral services for Thomas Clayton Ward, 90 of Lewisville will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel, Mexia. Ministers Chuck Durham, Benny Lucas and Joe Lucas will officiate with interment to follow in Faulkenberry Cemetery, Groesbeck. Mr. Ward was born September 16, 1915 in Delia to Thomas Calhoun and Johnny Ethelia Boykin Ward and passed away in Lewisville on March 5, 2006. He lived the last four years in Lewisville and prior to that in Groesbeck and Mexia. He was a lab technician for a plumbing manufacturing company and was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Violet Daisy Stephens Ward of Lewisville; a son, Donald Ray Ward and wife, Evelyn F. Ward of Lewisville; sister, Kate Mays of Mexia; grandchildren: Donna F. and Jon Bickert of Flower Mound and Deborah K. and Mack Bickert of Joplin, MO;and a great granddaughter: Karina Bickert.
