Tulio Cordon

Tulio Cordon passed away October 3, 2019 in Mexia at the age of 77. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel.

Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 3:00 pm. - 5:00 p.m.

Tulio was born in Agua Blanca Zacapa, Guatemala on September 25, 1942 to Jose Isidoro Cordon and Trinidad Morales, the fourth child of nine siblings. He served in the Guatemalan Armed Forces from age 18 to 22. He worked in various jobs including, being a police officer, carpentry and construction.

Tulio was a loving father and grandfather, his family was his pride and joy. He was also a very humble man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed watching sports, especially, the Forty Niners and L A Lakers. He was always the life of the party at social events and loved to dance.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, Elsida Cordon, Jose Isodoro Cordon, Jr., Rosa Andelica Cordon and Carlotta Cordon.

Tulio is survived by his four loving children, Thania Cordon Fraga and husband, Oscar, Trini Cordon, Tulio Polo Cordon and Timarco Serbio Cordon; grandchildren, Antwuan J. "AJ" Polk, Jr., Maya J. Polk, Joaquin J Fraga, Eric M. "EJ" Palmer, Amiliana J. Palmer and Daylen J. Fraga; and four siblings, Audelina Cordon, Elsa Estela Cordon, Adan Cordon and Hugo Renee Cordon.
