Virgil Wayne Yarbrough passed away Tuesday Jan. 3, 2006 in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Coolidge Cemetery Chapel in Coolidge with Robin Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Coolidge cemetery. After graduating from Baylor with a degree in journalism, he began working in and around the Waco area at various locations in the field he loved. Born in Kickapoo, near Groesbeck, to Alva and Ocie (Reeves) Yarbrough on April 15, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda, stepdaughter, Lori and brother Luther Yarbrough. Mr. Yarbrough is survived by nephews, Kenneth and wife Disy Yarbrough, Glenn and wife Edwina Yarbrough both of Baytown, Donald and wife Cheryl Yarbrough of Mt. Calm, Five great nieces and nine great nephews and one great great niece. Also by a host of kin folks and friends. Virgil was a religious person with a kind and gentle spirit and will be sorely missed by friends, family and others that knew and loved him.
