Wallace N. Hamilton passed away, Friday, December 23, 2022.
Wallace was born July 12, 1941 in Prairie Grove, Texas to Hannah Leon and Mary (Williams) Hamilton. He grew up in Point Enterprise where he met his best friend and love of his life, Brenda. Wallace and his family lived in Robinson, Texas for 38 years and, later, retired and moved back to Point Enterprise.
Wallace joined the United States Air Force where he served four years in the National Security Agency. He retired from Lehigh cement plant where he worked 40 plus years as an electrician.
Wallace loved his family and friends deeply. He had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. Wallace enjoyed fishing, golf and the Texas Longhorns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Delbert and Gladys Parker and son, D. K. Hamilton.
Wallace is survived by his wife of 61 years, Brenda; son, Todd Hamilton; grandsons, Justin Hamilton, Blake Hamilton and wife, Brandy; great grandchildren, Braxton and Brittyn; sister, Sandra Guest as well as nephews, cousins and many friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in the Robinson Cemetery, 620 E. Stegall Rd, Robinson, Texas 76706 with Kenny Parker and Pastor Eddie Hayworth officiating. His co-workers at Lehigh Cement Company will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church of Point Enterprise.
