William Barclay Miller went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the age of 60.
William was a drummer (rock music & Christian rock). He loved to beat the drums and did it very well. His talents have been compared to John Bonham of Led Zeppelin and Neil Peart of Rush. He left this world behind a set of drums.
William was a graduate of Vanoss High School in Ada Oklahoma. Until a heart attack in November of 2019, he was co-owner of WILLILLY a home décor manufacturing business. For many years he bought and sold knives & swords at flea markets and began handcrafting unique pieces from cedar. He was a big believer in paying attention to detail and doing his best quality work.
William is survived by his spouse, Lilly “Peggy” Wilson, Mother Carynne Thomas, Father Robert Miller, 2 daughters Jayde Miller & Jazmyn Miller, brothers Scott Miller, Dave, Glenn & Tim and sister Cathy and sister-in-law Debi Haney. Special friends Curt Wilson, Carmeci Rodriguez, Jerome Dixon, Daniel Farr, Mike Willaims, Jody Peterson & Smoke (the cat).
William was full of love and a peaceful man. First in his heart was Jesus Christ. He was excited that someday he would be standing in front of him worshiping and praising him. He attended the Prairie Grove Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends, life, telling jokes, offering guidance and advice and using the many talents and skills that God blessed him with. Proud to be an American, he loved our country. He loved nature, living in the country, watching the animals, talking to the red hawks that would fly over. He loved classic cars. He was an inventor, having numerous ideas of products that would make the world a better place.
William believed in paying it forward and wanted to help make the world a better place. Having been through tough times himself, he tried to help where he could.
Visitation with the family will be at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August, 3, 2022 at the Prairie Grove Baptist Church, services will begin at 10:00 a.m with Rev. Clifton Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams-Tooke-Wilson Cemetery (family cemetery) near Mexia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
