Willie Douglas

Mrs. Willie Eunice Douglas, 91, of New Braunfels, formerly of Point Enterprise, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 in New Braunfels. Eunice was born April 28, 1921 in Mexia to Tom William and Sarah Elizabeth McGee Williams. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia with the Reverend Marcus Sheffield officiating. Burial will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Those serving as pallbearers are Harvey Williams, Lewis Williams, Todd Douglas, Greg Douglas, Christopher Douglas and Blake McMahon. Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John M. Douglas; and her siblings. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Susan Douglas of Brownwood; grandchildren, Greg Douglas, Todd Douglas, Vicki McMahon, John Dietz and Shawna Huddleston; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
