Anita Willine Gibson, 81, passed away May 23, 2014 in Mexia. Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Lost Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Daryl Hatley and Rev. James Herrington officiating. Willine was born March 8, 1933 in Jewett, Texas to Theo and Orahgeen Morton Taylor. She retired from the Mexia State School after 25 years of service. A loving mother and grandmother, who thought her grandchildren, were the greatest. She loved her Lord and was so thankful that He blessed her with a loving family and many years of happiness. Willine was a warm, loving person who greeted everyone with a smile and plenty of humor. She never met a stranger; loved people. She was a member of Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Billy Ray Gibson. Willine is survived by four childen, Connie Armstrong and husband, Rodney of Mexia, Karen Morton of Mexia, Terry Gibson and wife, Janie of Groesbeck and Tricia Van Winkle and husband, Bobby of Midlothian; grandchildren, Brady Armstrong, Taylor Armstrong, Kara Hardin, Sarah Morton, Adam Gibson, Phillip Gibson, Aimee Van Winkle-Stone, Laura Van Winkle-Prestone; great-grandchildren, Kace Armstrong, Maison Logan, Kynlee Hardin and Braden Stone; and brother, Leon Taylor of Brownwood.
