Woodford Fisher Jr.

On January 9, 2018, Woodford Paschal Fisher, Jr., of Mexia, known to most as "Jr.", passed away peacefully at his home. He was born July 5, 1948 in Mexia where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Mexia High School, Class of 1966. Jr. was a wonderful man who was uncomplicated, quiet, and always willing to give anyone the shirt off his back. He loved all of his family and friends, was the best daddy two boys could ask for, a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother to his siblings, uncle to his nieces and nephews, son to his mom and dad, and wonderful friend to many. He will be truly missed. Jr. is survived by his sons, Clint Fisher and wife, Erica and Josh Fisher and Fiancee Cendy, Sisters, Gladys Liles and husband George, Billie Hatfield and husband Gary, Karen Plummer and (baby sister) Dorothy Ordieres, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews and close friends He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lynn Fisher, Parents, Woodford P. and Dorothy Fisher, Brothers, Jackie and Jimmy Fisher. A small private family service is pending.
